“Bright Ideas” at the Playhouse

Earlier this month, my husband and I had a rare Thursday night out, as our anniversary happened to fall on this day. We wanted to make it a special night and so I logged onto cleveland.com for some ideas. I stumbled across the play Bright Ideas at the Cleveland Playhouse, running through November 10th at the Drury Theatre. The play centers on a couple, Joshua and Genevra Bradley who are trying to guarantee their son’s future success by getting him a prized spot at the Bright Ideas Preschool. This couple will stop at nothing, including murder, to get their son into this preschool. The play is a witty satirical look at their plight. My husband and I both laughed non-stop. The play really hit home for the audience members with preschoolers. Ticket prices range from $31.50 to $40.00. For advance tickets call the Playhouse at (216)795-7000 extension 4 or log onto clevelandplayhouse.com.
