Go Outside

Posted on Wednesday 8 January 2003

This winter, your preschooler can get out and learn some valuable information about the planet. Carol Ward, intrepid naturalist for Cleveland Lakefront State Park, is defying the constraints of a pathetic state budget and continuing her Friday morning Nature Discovery series for little ones.

This program meets at the park headquarters (8701 Lakeshore Blvd.) from 10 - 11 am on January 17, 24 and 31. Snowsuits and boots are a good idea. Programs begin inside with background information on the day’s topic (animal tracks, snowflakes, etc.) and continue with a tramp around outside, unless the weather is truly rotten, in which case the full program will be indoors.

All programs are free. For more information, call Carol at 216-881-8141, ext. 3001.
