After-school play group meets Fridays from 4-6 pm at the West Side YMCA (W32 & Franklin), and it’s BYOS (bring-your-own-snack). A donation of $2 per child for room rental is suggested. Parents are invited to squeeze in a work-out while we share kid-watching responsibilities.
The aquatics program at the West Side YMCA will begin ramping up this month with lessons for adult beginners and advanced youth (ages 13 and older). The Saturday afternoon classes (beginners from 12 - 1 pm, advanced from 1 - 2 pm) will run for eight weeks at a cost of $35 for members and $45 for non-members.
