Summer Reading Club

Cleveland Public Library will “Celebrate Ohio” this summer in its reading incentives program for readers ages preschool through teen. Prizes will include a sail on a tall ship, free tickets to see the Rockers or the Dinosaurs at the Zoo, and more. Register at any branch. The program runs for eight weeks from June 9 - August 9.

Individual branches will host special activities during the program. Some of the offerings include:

Kick-Off Celebration with puppeteer David Johnson. WED 6/11, 3 pm. Main Library, 325 Superior.

Rocky River Nature Center presents a program on Early Woodland Indians, with artifacts. WED 6/18, 2 pm. Carnegie West, 1900 Fulton.

Francis D’Amico’s Magic Show. THU 6/19, 3 pm. Brooklyn, 3706 Pearl.

Story Peddlers, songs and draw-and-tell stories. WED 6/25, 2 pm. Carnegie West, 1900 Fulton.

Origami Workshop with Keiko Biddle. FRI 6/27, 2 pm. Fulton, 3545 Fulton.
