Library Summer

Posted on Sunday 6 July 2003

Spending the afternoon in the hammock, delving through a backpack full of this week’s selections from the library — that’s a summer pleasure that’s hard to beat. But running a close second is walking over to the neighborhood library after lunch on a sweltering afternoon, stepping through the door, and being wrapped in the delicious coolness of public air conditioning.

The Jefferson Branch of Cleveland Public Library is offering plenty of cool, quiet activities for kids looking to escape the heat or just keep their brains well oiled during school break. All activities start at 2 PM and run through mid-August. Here’s what’s going on:

TUE Game Day
WED Summer Reading Club activities
THU Book Discussion, ages 8-12
FRI Movies & snacks

For details, drop by the library at 850 Jefferson in Tremont or call 216-623-7004.
