On September 20 at 7:00 p.m. all neighbors and friends of Franklin Circle Christian Church, 1688 Fulton Rd. near W. 28th St., are invited to a regular monthly Community Coffee House. Hot coffee, tea, and cookies will be served continuously during a performance of Christian contemporary music. As always, the event is free of charge, though donations will be used to help fund the church’s emergency assistance fund. Guests may come and go anytime between 7 and 9 p.m. and are encouraged to dress comfortably.
The monthly coffeehouse serves as just one of many gifts Franklin Circle Christian Church provides to the Ohio City/Near West neighborhood. Outreach and service to the community also includes an elementary after school program (which will be expanding this fall) and a Thursday evening meal for the neighborhood are offered.
